Actual U.S. Rep. Joe Walsh, who was actually elected to Congress in 2010, attempted to clarify his stance on women’s health by issuing the logically opaque statement that “I am pro-life for the mother and I am pro-life for the unborn child. For me, there is no distinction between the two.” Except, of course, when there is a very clear and obvious distinction between the two.

Of course, if Walsh is truly unable to distinguish between mothers and children, it might explain why he’s such a shit to women and children alike.
