Working on a follow-up to this post about the absolutely mystifying move by the Reader.
In the meantime, these items will have to suffice. And I think they do, quite nicely in fact.

Um, maybe testimony from those who commit violence would be more helpful. Why do you do it? What would get you to stop? If you lived in Lincoln Park would you still do it?
7. How many of you saw the Sun-Times headline “This Is The Story Of Why They Won’t Stop Shooting In Chicago” and immediately thought the story would be nothing of the sort?

8. “[T]here’s a lot bigger fish out there than Mr. DelValle and Mr. Sanchez,” attorney Martin Dolan said last week after Aaron DelValle and Al Sanchez were convicted – again – in connection with corrupt city hiring.
“Dolan declined to elaborate but said it was ‘obvious’ who was responsible to anyone who followed the trial.”
