Favorite Inauguration-related text of the day: “I can’t get over Michelle Obama wearing Green Bay colors.”

Rick Kaempfer ‘s 6-year-old son Sean noticed people crying in the crowd and said: “Dad, people really hate this speech.”

Lisa didn’t get teary until the “protect and defend the constitution” line of the oath.
Comment: I liked that part! It was a rather obvious jab at W!

David says The internets can now be referred to as “the internet” and “the Google” is now just plain “Google.”

P is pretty excited that Britney Spears’ proposed autobiography may run to five volumes.

Eric Deggans – A crowd has gathered in my office to watch Obama. Best comment so far: Rick Warren looks like the comic book store owner from The Simpsons.

Rick Kaempfer wonders if anyone else noticed that Dick Cheney in a wheelchair is a dead ringer for Mr. Potter in “It’s a Wonderful Life.”

M says Diane Sawyer just made me want to throw up. Couldn’t change the channel fast enough.

L is waiting for the president to fix everything.

P says Come by the . . . household when you’re done. I’ll have Obama-beers and Barack Cheese Pizza.

N asks so everyone i know wants to know what an “Obama-tini” is exactly . . . is this just a martini saluting Obama . . . or is there some form of precise alcohol that goes into this drink?
