This news apparently broke too late for the Sunday papers: Jake Peavy has been shut down by the White Sox and probably will open the season on the DL, according to MLB.com. It figures. Just this morning, I was feeling pretty good about Peavy (so was Ozzie), a guy whose health I haven't trusted since the Sox got him in a supposed steal of a trade back in 2009.
