Cab #3393

Date: 12/01/06
From: Wicker Park
To: Downtown

The Cab: Clean but a bit worn and raggedy on the inside. No adornment except the "Revolution" button placed dead center in the roof interior between the front-seat visors; red-lettering against a green background.

The Driver: Semi-threatening in a blue hood. Appeared to be running silent without radio or cellphone until I detected a slight murmur that indicated he actually was having a conversation with someone. He faked knowing where he was going but found it hard to hide the restaurant/bar guide I caught him looking at. Effective use of the intermittent wiper.

The Driving: A smooth merger. In fact, a smooth ride overall. The smoothest revolutionary driver I have known. The revolution will be smooth.

Overall rating: 4.5 extended arms
