Even considering commuting #Blagojevich's sentence is privileging him over the tens of thousands of other prisoners - many of whom's cases really are questionable at best and should be reconsidered - because he made himself into a celebrity in an attempt to taint the jury pool.

Supporting a commutation also puts you on the side of enabling Trump's abuse of the whole system, including pardons of such noxious people like Joe Arpaio, Dinesh D'Souza, Scooter Libby and Conrad Black.

He victimized all of us. He had to be removed from office. He ate up resources (time and money) that could've been far better spent. He paralyzed state government. And he denied it all, as he and his wife Patti continue to do, despite overwhelming evidence from his own mouth.
